| Early retirement from teaching in Arkansas and Virginia enabled me to begin the part of my life I've put on hold since childhood - WRITING. I moved to Dallas and joined Romance Writers of America and Dallas Area Romance Authors. The rest - as they say - is HISTORY - or at least ---- HISTORICAL ROMANCE! Genealogy is another of my loves. My family tree provides most of my character's names. That way, I'm sure they were actually in use at the time of my stories. Mary Ann |
